Every phone in the Avaya 9600 range supports the embedded speech recognition engine allows for dialling contacts by speaking the persons name. If a contact has more than one number listed you can specify which number to call e.g. "call Dan at work".
For any business that uses the hot desking facility a USB stick can be used to log into a phone and store personal contacts. When the USB stick is inserted into the phone the user can then utilise the speech recognition engine to dial the personal contacts (250 personal contacts supported).
