- What is the cost of the system - As your business grows you want your phone system to grow with it and not have to purchase any extras like voicemail or queue capability. - Call Quality - Your external connectivity reflects the quality of your VoIP calls, a good broadband connection is vital to the quality of your voice data. There are steps that you can take to reduce the chance of embarrassing quality issuses on important calls.
- What happens if our Broadband/ISDN fails - Certain phone systems have fail safes set in place so if your broadband does fail your phones will still work, but you may not have access to all your features (you can still make calls).
- Can I make changes to the phone system easily? - You might want to change aspects of your website for certain times of the year holidays etc. Can you do this without consulting a guide or taking the system offline, a phone system maintenance provider can makes these changes for you.
- Is there a choice of handsets? - Every business and employee has different needs so a choice of handsets is essential to get the most out of your workforce
- Does the system support remote/home working - When an employee is off with an illness the cost to your business can be very detremental. - Is the phone system future proof - An IP Phone System should be designed to last for a number of years, look out for a PBX upgrade policy to ensure you are not the owner of an obsolete phone system.
