Incoming Call Rules

Incoming calls are filtered based on the caller ID and the time of the call, rules can be setup using a set of predefined actions including transfer to a certain extension or department.

Call Forwarding

If you are away from your desk you do not want to miss an important call, you can forward calls to another extension or your mobile phone. You can configure this feature for certain time periods on your phone system. An example of this is before 9.00am the phones can automatically be diverted to mobiles or to your voicemail, at weekends the phones can be set to ring "on call staff" from home.

Call Pickup

This feature allows a user to pick up calls ringing at other extensions without leaving your desk.

Call Parking

Phone Calls can be "parked" in a private lot and picked up later according to the preferences set within the phone system. This feature allows multiple callers to be put on hold and then picked up by another department.

Home Working

This allows staff to take a phone with them to work from their home or a remote office, when the phone is connected to a phone line it will re-connect to your office phone system without the need for configuration, and will work in the same way as it would in the office. This will allow you to have offices in different areas and no cost you any more money to have a new phone system installed.

Call Transfers

Calls can be transferred to indiviual extensions, departments with numerous extensions or to public numbers through the phone system. Any member of staff can transfer a call to a managers mobile without an interruption to the call.

Record Converstions (Call Recording)

In certain businesses recording a call is required by law and often helps to resolve disputes and improve customer service. The recording of calls can be event driven (pressing a button on the phone) or unconditional (setup by management), this can help save storage space on your PBX.
